Last Night: Trouble the Water

Tonight is the last night to see "Trouble the Water" at the Art Theatre in Downtown Champaign. Trouble the Water is a documentary of one family's experience of living through Katrina that incorporates amazing on-the-ground footage from a video camera that the central character bought for $20 a week before the Hurricane. It really is an amazing account of what the failure of disaster relief action meant for the city's poorest residents.

Local Urbana director Carl Deal will be available for Q&A after the 5:30 and 7:30 showing.

Darn it, I'll be out of town. Do you know if the library has the movie?
