Policies to Prosper in the New Carbon Economy
December 15-16, 2008
Chicago, Illinois
Energy Security, the impact of $150 a barrel oil in our economy, climate change and its impact on agriculture and future generations are among the most dominant issues of our time. Carbon is central to these issues and is the focus of this upcoming Summit. Midwest agriculture holds a wealth of opportunity in the emerging and dynamic carbon economy. Ag leaders who attend this Summit will have the prospect of identifying emerging carbon policy questions that will lay the groundwork for future policy work in this rapidly evolving carbon economy. The Summit will bring together over 200 Midwestern ag leaders to network, collaborate and learn how regional networks are shaping and will continue to shape agriculture and energy policies that impact the development of the carbon economy and our energy future.

Are we allowed to skip finals to attend? Just kidding. Sounds interesting, but the timing won't quite work :(
