I'm not sure if you received the e-mail from Ed Feser a week or two ago, but a committee is currently being formed to examine how energy is used in TBH and to also develop plans for conservation. The goal is to achieve at least a 10% energy reduction by the end of AY 2008-2009.
It's far from "sustainable" (however we may loosely toss that term around), but at least it's a step in the right direction. Plus, maybe we won't have to wear our coats and scarfs around TBH anymore...
I just took a survey for FAA facilities and I noted several times that the classrooms shouldn't be FREEZING and the stairwells shouldn't be 103 degrees.
