Scribus and Inkscape

So you're going far far away for spring break, and you haven't bought adobe's bundle of expensivity to finish your 503 assignment?! Teh Horror!

There are some options! and they're free! For all operating systems!
To replace Illustrator there is: Inkscape
To replace InDesign there is: Scribus

Both should be good enough to get you through the break.note that you wont be able to open your old illustrator files (especially those with mapublisher).... you'll have to export them first.
