Bored yet with the dull and mindless summer?
Sure, you are!
I've got one thing you can put on your planners(no pun intended) for the summer!
Some MUP's are planning to have BBQ's on Thursday nights throughout the summer!
We'll be posting the BBQ locations here, so keep checking the Blog for the locale for the next BBQ! The BBQ's are open to all students and faculty, so feel free to drop by and say hello.
This Thursday, the 21st, I'll be hosting the first of many summer fun-filled nights. This time, we'll be located at:
308 West Charles St. in Champaign.
It will be a very relaxed affair. If you're interested, text me(825-7858) or just show up, BYOB and/or BYOM or Veggie. If you don't have food, no worries, stop by anyway. Come, chill, and enjoy each others rapier wit.
This time, I'll be preparing chicken and some steaks. I drink white wine and JD&C so if you have something else in mind, bring it!
There is, however, one rule to Thursday's BBQ.
1. NO SHOPTALK.
--If you violate the rule, you will be given yard work as punishment. ;-)~

Beep, beep! Here comes the grammar bus. We are graduate students at a prestigious University. Shouldn't we know the basics of grammar by now?

Please explore something more valuable to do with your time than disparaging bad grammar on a blog. Here are some suggestions:
1) Play-dough
2) Look for coins in the grass
3) Write a blog entry

Actually, in the first paragraph of your response, "University" shouldn't be capitalized since you don't name the school specifically. So next time, before you spend who knows how long criticizing someone else's grammar, perhaps you should make sure your own is 100% correct.
