Hey Planners,
We need to get on the Park(ing) Day bandwaggon. Park(ing) Day is an annual global event that demonstrates the waste of parking by converting a metered parking space into a vibrant public park for a day. (Someone approached me about this last year, but we never acted on it). This year, the global event will take place SEPTEMBER 18th. I think we (if not SPO and Planners Network) should make this happen this year. Here is the link to the site:
