Co-op Board Meeting-Panel Discussion with Local Farmers

For anyone interested in food issues and planning a local food system, the local food co-op, Common Ground Food Co-op in Urbana, is holding a speaker series in conjunction with their monthly board meetings.  The speakers are participants in our local food system.  Meetings are open to the public.

"Stan Schutte from Triple S Farms, Jon Cherrnis from Blue Moon Farm, and Karen Linder from Linder Farm will make up the panel of farmers addressing issues of conventional, transitional/non-certified, and organic growing practices and what they see as important issues concerning the future of sustainable farming."
