Check out the curriculum summary link on this page. It looks like a really inspired stuff! I think a lot of kids would really love this.
If you Google it you can pull up a couple of lesson documents (although one is clearly a version they used while still in development) on using NetLogo to educate about hydrographs and peak flow using a Chicago-area watershed.
