Friday, Dec 31, 2010:
Clubbing in downtown Champaign - looks like a few places are hosting NYE events (http://the217.com/events/day/2010/12/31), and a few may be worth checking out.

Saturday, Jan 1, 2011:
The Ridgewalkers Walking Club is hosting a 10k guided walk through St. Joseph, IL, beginning at 10am. The walk will start and end at Casey's General Store, 401 E Warren St, St. Joseph, IL. If the weather cooperates (i.e., driving is feasible), I'm planning on leaving Champaign around 9.20ish and could take up to 4 people. If needed, I could probably round up some Baileys and coffee to help ease folks in to the New Year.

Monday, Jan 3, 2011:
Bingo Night, 8pm, at Memphis on Main (55 E Main St, Champaign). Who doesn't love a game of bingo?

Friday & Saturday, Jan 7 & 8, 2011:
January Jam with the Urbana country dancers at Phillips Recreation Center, 505 W Stoughton, Urbana. Schedule is available at http://www.urbana-contra.org/jan_jam_sched.html I'm mostly interested in going for the contra dances on Friday and/or Saturday evenings. New dancer orientation is available on Friday evening beginning at 7.30pm.

And, as always, there's country line dancing starting at 8pm on Wednesday nights at Bradley's in Champaign.
