Interested in supporting a local organization?
HMD Tae Kwon Do Academy does a Kick-A-Thon every year to raise money for CASA-Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (http://illinoiscasa.org/). I'm a student at the academy and completed my kicks (800!) last week, but I am collecting money until my muscles stop aching (probably will be back to normal by the end of the week). If you are interested in making a donation, please either give me cash or write a check to CASA.
